compatibility is the main problem with these players.
since there are 4/5 diffrent types of divx, some players cannot play them all.

I have the crystal divx dvd player, and it plays 9 out of 10 shows. out of the last ten percent, it won't play any of the divx wrestling i have, and the odd tv episode it sends out of sync. With these, i just play them on my xbox console, which can play everything.

The fan in the xbox is louder, and so not my 1st choice of player, although it does play everything.
The dvd player is very quiet but not as compatible with all types. the crystal divx will also not play vcds properly. (Even though it claims to on the box). Its disjoints the bottom of the picture on all models.

It depends on the chip the player has? I read somewhere that whether or not it has the ESS chip, or something like that, depends on how well it will be compatible to play most divx movies.
