I have 2 Toshiba 3750 DVD players, I like the zoom +/- feature that you can take the "as displayed" picture and zoom - (out) as there is usually a little of the picture cut-off, anyway both skip and freeze now on disks real bad (guess the video pickup system is getting worn out). Are there some other players to choose from that will give me the zoom +/- and maybe upconvert the picture and have some of the newer features on many of the (newer than the 3750) players? Or can I replace the laser/video pickup system and replace one of these or is it not worth it?

In the TV?

Nevertheless, there one can put that nothing is cut off.
According to TV make one can differently say than how in my example picture [TV Samsung, setting in German.]

One would have to have about 10 DVDs player to be able to test which could transmit the picture in the best high scaliert to the TV.
If the picture on the DVD is in interlaced, it becomes even more difficult.

I went with the Toshiba 3800, inexpensive, seems to output a good picture, zoom +/-, selectable I or P.
