I found this in my stuff while unpacking. Just slip me a $20 and it's yours. Worked well for VHS-to-VHS, cp32 says it's fine with VHS-to-DVD too, she has the same model.

Runs off a 9-volt battery, lasts forever.

It just removes protection. I don't know about anything else.

That is correct DSmyth . It only removes copyguard. It will not convert NTSC to PAL etc etc..
