I bought one, and its working well so far. I was able to buy a one year warantee with it, amazingly. Hopefully that turns out to be wasted money...

Wowzers the price has gone up! I paid $70 for mine on eBay in Spring 2011!!!

Like I said ... insane deal. I'm glad to have picked two up when I did.

Good to see you picked one up.

Fair market value for a good JVC VCR is $150 to $250.
Some of the better and rarer units can be $300 to $450 each. For example, a HR-S9800 with low hours.
