Picked up an extra DMR-ES15 from the local SPCA thrift store and unfortunately the drive won't work properly. This is a good DVD recorder to use as a line TBC, and I verified that its passthrough is working; only selling because I'm already using another busted-drive DMR-ES15 for that purpose.

Includes the remote but it's missing the battery cover and looks dirty; remotes can be bought on eBay for $9.35.

$20 + shipping. I live in Canada but if you're in the states and can wait, I cross the border now and then to send/receive packages cheaper. Will ship worldwide but it's the NA model.

I might be interested in this unit. Could you tell me what shipping to 64836 would be? I can wait until you cross the border for cheaper shipping.

(I responded to GreenAcres by PM around the time of his message.)

Anyone else interested? I'm moving to a different apartment next weekend so hoping to downsize a bit.

I guess it just isn't realistic to ship from Canada to the US even if I were giving it away and only charging shipping. Even before factoring in the size and weight of packing material and box, the shipping cost is $31.05 for the cheapest option. Weight is approx 2.65kg.

I should be going to the border on Friday or possibly Saturday, if all goes well. The USPS pricing looks like $17.45 for Priority Mail flat rate. Standard post, calculated is basically the same price but slower.

Looking for one of these for a line TBC for a limited number of tapes. Did you ever part with the ES15? Also if you still have it does it come with a power cord in additional to the remote without the battery cover?

Thanks.
