Up for auction is the Marantz MV5100SVHS VCR. This VCR is a clone of the JVC 9000 series VCRs e.g. 9911U. These machines are known as the BEST machines for watching tapes or converting tapes to digital. This machine has some amazing features, such as Digital Studio Picture Control (DSPC), as well as Video Stabilizer, SVHS-ET, and Tape Manager.
What separates this machine from other VCRs is first reads the tape, analyzes it, and adjusts it for the best picture quality!
I've owned many of the great SVHS machines, and this machine gives the greatest quality possible! I've watched a few tapes on this machine and I'm amazed at how the picture quality is so close to DVD.
To achieve the best picture quality possible, I've made sure to service this machine. The service I've performed is as follows:
Cleaned the video drum
Cleaned the A/C head
cleaned flying erase head
restored pinch roller rubber
cleaned the belts
I've tested this machine in all modes, play, ffwd, rwnd, record, stop, and eject. The machine performs flawlessly.
