For sale: JVC HR-S5902 S-VHS VCR [ENDED]
High-end JVC/Panasonic S-VHS VCRs are nice to have, but sometimes a lower-end can be useful, too! It's not just about TBCs, but also transports and tracking ranges.
The 4600+/5600+ series had: - flying erase head - picture filters, like 7600+/9600+ series - stabilizer filters, like 7600+/9600+ series The only real difference between this deck and the 7600+/9600+ is the internal TBC. I used decks like this** for transfer many times, all through the 90s, for both playback and recording in analog setups. ** 3600, 3800, 4600, 4800 This unit sold new for about $250. Asking $100. I have several of these, and just need to downsize my collection. :o |
How does this unit play LP speed tapes?

I've never come across a post-1995 JVC S-VHS that was unable to play LP. I don't have one to test with right now.
JVC plays SP and LP very nicely. |
