Top of the line JVC PAL deck with TBC et al. Remote included.

I've had almost every model of JVC PAL 9000 -series and HM-DR10000 is better picture quality wise in my opinion. That's why this is my last JVC deck to go. Selling because I'm downsizing the VCR rack.

Tested: VHS playback = OK
Not tested so much: SVHS and DVHS playback.

What's been done: S-video connectors resoldered and secured with hotglue (picture). Pinch roller exchanged and is pretty much unused (picture). Cleaned and lubed for the parts that are easily accessible.

What remains to be done: I've manually adjusted tracking so you need to have a basic knowhow how to re-adjust the tape path for your tapes. If this sounds like something out of science fiction, I can try to reset the adjustments to work with some commercial tape. I don't have real factory adjustment tapes at hand.

Asking 500 € + shipping.

Shipping to Europe = depends on destination, most likely 35-50 € or more.

Payment: SEPA wire, PayPal, Bitcoin.

Attached images.

Dunno why imgur links didn't work. Probably a temporary problem.
Here's a link to the album with hi-res images for the first post https://imgur.com/a/84svM

I was planning to do rough tracking calibration with Empire Strikes Back THX release. It seems tracking is good enough. No problems. Captured 1 minute sample (UtVideo, no sound): https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_...HVOaVlneFlKZGc

Google drive will do a preview. For untouched video download first.

New price: 400 €

If you want to stockpile for the future, upper drum cylinder + heads can still be found as new : https://www.donberg.ie/descript/p/pdm_3353x.htm

edit: I can't verify this from the service manual. Don't know why it is in my notes. This message can be deleted. Sorry.

SOLD for 350 €.

For buyer safety in case of a problem I will post my warranty promise publicly.

Quote:
I can offer a limited warranty for 1 month from receiving the package so you have some safety net. If there's a serious new problem that's not mentioned in the selling post(s) I will accept the VCR back, minus shipping and handling charges both ways.
