Do you want the OEM for that model, or just any JVC S-VHS remote that works?
Price for one is about $15.
The OEM may run anywhere from $25 to $50 -- assuming it's even available.

While eBay usually not suggested for VCrs, it's safe for the remotes. Lots of new/clean units can be found.

But yes, good idea to post here, somebody may have one.

I don't really care. I would prefer OEM, but anything that works. My unit currently starts up in "Auto" mode and I cannot get it out of that without using a remote. I need a remote that I can use to get it out of that mode.

That looks like a good one for about $10.

What you don't want to do is buy from an auction using stock photos, or has multiple items. You want to see how clean it is, and that includes inside the battery cover. You don't want dried battery acid inside, dried spaghetti on bottom, numbers rubbed off buttons, etc. eBay isn't safe. Buy safely.

The original shuttle remote was the LP 20465, and is 2x-3x the cost.

We almost never suggest eBay, but for mere remotes, it's often fine, if you're careful.
