Hello everyone!

I am looking for a TBC - I will use it in combination with a PAL VCR (I do not know if the TBCs are divided into PAL/NTSC?).

I live in Europe, so a shipping to Europe is welcome

Greetings

All suggested DataVideo and Cypress (AVToolbox, TVone, others) do both PAL and NTSC. The DataVideo TBC-100 and TBC-1000 are auto-switching, while the others (3000, 4000, 7000) have internal DIP or jumper to control PAL/NTSC (and IRE).

Kramer FC-400 also has ability to convert between formats, though Avisynth/software conversion is always better quality (though with effort required, and some learning curve).

The only suggested TBC that is NTSC-only is the For.A FA-125. So avoid that one.

Good luck on your quest. The quality TBCs are scarce now. Mine all are gone or spoken for at the moment.
