Hi all,

Having a tech clearout and I have found an old Canopus ADVC-55 that I used many moons ago for some transfers. Strikes me that since they're still advertised for more than £100 here in the UK on the usual auction sites, there still may be appeal in one of these for someone. An AIW or an ATI USB will still be better quality, of course, but perhaps some Mac-based enthusiasts want it as a backup or because it's so Firewire friendly?

Speaking of which, you will need some sort of Firewire connection, but I'd throw in the cable. There's not much else to say about it; it's in reasonable condition but has lived at the bottom of a box for a number of years, so it's a bit scuffed.

Price? Well, make me an offer, I guess. I certainly don't want three figures for it like some of the eBay ripoff merchants.

Regards to all,

Discy
