I REALLY want to you understand and accept the hazard of muratic acid fumes.
This is the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for a common muriatic acid cleaner:

There is no [warning that] prolonged exposure may be hazardous. It's HAZARDOUS [ALL THE TIME]!
BTW, this is a 33% concentration, the highest level allowed in the U.S.

I only smoke 30 minutes a day, is that hazardous? Decades of research has PROVEN that ANY smoking, even secondhand is hazardous. YES, YOU'RE IN A HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENT!!!! Get yourself and your family out of the room or at least everyone should wear a respirator while the cleaning is going on.
