M-DISC DVD Verbatim is fragile in any light? does the light affect the expectancy useful life of the disk and data? if the light hits the center of the disk will it damage the data storage?

Light eventually harms all DVDs. The irony is that optical media are read by light. But, of course, not all light is the same. IR, UV, etc.

When not in use, store discs in dark.
