Must store DVD discs in vertical position?
I have read a lot of information to store burned DVD discs in a vertical position, so if I store burned DVD discs in a horizontal position, will I have problems with reducing the durability and useful life of discs and files?

Direction does not matter whatsoever.

You can store DVD discs in the "lying " without denying disc conservation?
|
Where did you read about disc orientation and conservation? The question is nonsense. Discs aren't tapes. (And even most tape storage is nonsense, attempting to make preference scientific, as if science is only 2D and not 3D+.)

I read on many sites but I don’t remember the links they just said to store DVD discs vertically and I thought that this influenced the durability of the data burned on the DVD
position horizontal x vertical dvd discs |
Store them upright then. Why moan and groan about it?

1) I can store it better in a horizontal position but if it affects the useful life of the disks and data then I store it in a vertical position
2) will several DVD cases on top of each other in horizontal position damage the discs that are below because of the weight? |
This conversation is getting really stupid.
preference != science You can store diagonal, upsize-down, etc. These are discs, not tapes. |
store equal photo not damage discs for weight?

They were carrying DVDs on the Titanic that fateful night. A idshipman accidentally positioned the discs horizontally. You know what happened next...
