Imation DVD-RW on Philips DVDR 3305?

Hey guys
I am looking for the solution. Weird behavior.

I have always used Verbatim DVD-RW 4x with my DVDr 3305 and all was good. My DVDs got worn out and started giving errors. I bought a huge bunch of IMATION DVD-RW.

BUT I am facing a problem with DVDR 3305. I am getting the error "DISC IS NON RECORDABLE". Is there a solution to fix that?

I appreciate any input/help on that.

Worn out? Explain.

That DVD recorder error is usually not a disc issue, but the drive in the unit is failing, or now failed entirely.

Thank you for the answer. But i still think that the DVD-RW is the culprit. My DVDR is working perfectly fine with other DVDs . But only these ones are the problem. (((
