I noticed two types of Verbatim DVD+R DL media. I saw Verbatim 2.4x-6x and 8x-10x. Which speed Verbatim DVD+R DL media should I buy? At what speed should I burn? I use ImgBurn.

There is really no definitive answer here. Much of this depends on the DVD burner in use.

For example, I mostly use a Pioneer 111 drive for burning DVD+R DL media. In this drive I primarily use the 2.4x-6x discs, Verbatim made in Singapore, and burn at either 2.4x for master/archival discs, or 4x for duplicates for others. The 6x burns are always rotten quality, if the burn even succeeds. The 4x burn speed has a higher coaster count too, than the 2.4x speed, maybe 1 in 20 at 4x, instead of 1 in 50 at 2.4x.

Ideally, I'd think a 8x DVD+R DL would work great at a 4x or 6x burn speed, but whether that disc can be burned that "low" depends on the burner and firmware.

The most I can do here is share what I do.
