Reading information on optical media on the internet I saw that there is a fungu called Geotrichum and this fungus feeds on and destroys the polycarbonate of medias CD and DVD, this information is true? My CDs and DVDs that are stored for years are with this risk the fungus Geotrichum destroying medias CD and DVD? someone who understands this issue can help me?

that is BS hoax - there is no such a thing fungus that eats polycarbonite
