What type of DVD+R DL to buy?
verbatim are pricey is there a lower cost alternative ? I have read that tdk ,sony,phillips and HP now are junk , found some maxell's but there were out of stock and discontinued not sure what to buy ?

When you consider the bad discs you'll end up throwing out, the discs are usually not expensive per disc.
Being in the USA, buying discs online is the ideal solution for you -- Amazon had great prices on the Verbatim DVD+R. When 360K floppy discs were $20 a ten-pack, and a 20 MB hard drive was well over $600 - not so long ago actually.
Generic and off brands are a crap shoot at best. If the content is important, don't scrimp on media. Skipping ink-jet printable may save a bit but avoid using paper labels. |
