Verbatim 16X-Rs discs

Is anyone having problems using these discs? I thought they were pretty good, but after opening a 100pk I got from Office Depot I'm starting to wonder. They won't verify with Decryptor after being burned. I've had five discs right off the top with this problem.[:-(]

Verify they are MCC03RG20 disc media ID.

They are, I've always had this problem with Verbatim if I go past 6X. I just burned seventeen discs with no problem.

I burn mine at 8x, 12x, and 16x just fine in my Pioneer 109 drives.
They burn great at 4x in my 4x max drives.

I just got 200 from Office Depot, MCC manufacturered... I burn at 12 X and have no problems.

Office Depot didn't have any Verbatim DVD-RWs for my JVC recorder, so I picked up some Office Depot 4X DVD-RWs (which are Ritek manufactured). Got a strange error... when I put the disc in, the recorder says that "disc cannot be formatted... check disc". I tried this with three different discs, all with the same message. Any ideas? (other than return the discs)

RITEK DVD-RW media is not very good.
Verbatim, TDK, Sony, Maxell ... all better DVD-RW choices.
Staples, Best Buy, Circuit City have them ... even Target and Walmart.
