Is anyone having problems using these discs? I thought they were pretty good, but after opening a 100pk I got from Office Depot I'm starting to wonder. They won't verify with Decryptor after being burned. I've had five discs right off the top with this problem.

Verify they are MCC03RG20 disc media ID.

They are, I've always had this problem with Verbatim if I go past 6X. I just burned seventeen discs with no problem.

I burn mine at 8x, 12x, and 16x just fine in my Pioneer 109 drives.
They burn great at 4x in my 4x max drives.

I just got 200 from Office Depot, MCC manufacturered... I burn at 12 X and have no problems.

Office Depot didn't have any Verbatim DVD-RWs for my JVC recorder, so I picked up some Office Depot 4X DVD-RWs (which are Ritek manufactured). Got a strange error... when I put the disc in, the recorder says that "disc cannot be formatted... check disc". I tried this with three different discs, all with the same message. Any ideas? (other than return the discs)

RITEK DVD-RW media is not very good.
Verbatim, TDK, Sony, Maxell ... all better DVD-RW choices.
Staples, Best Buy, Circuit City have them ... even Target and Walmart.
