Which of these DVD-R medias is the best and most durable and reliable? I have not found verbatim and TY in my country, I found only this:

Ridata, maybe. It depends on media ID. If RITEKFxx (Fuji oxonol dye), you should be fine.
Some of these are fake-disc brands, and others CMC. |
I do not know what ID is the media of DVD Ridata, I need to know this information before buying, these medias Ridata is the best and most durable?
as this is the current situation of Sony DVD? Sony brand is one of the world's best, which means Sony AccuCORE? |

But Sony requires quality regardless of who manufactures? I believe that I should pick up the Sony by the great brand name and AccuCORE technology?
|
I think Sony actually cares about products sold under its name, so yes.

I think that those who manufacture these Sony DVD is a Moser Baer company, this company is reliable in producing discs from Sony? I must rely on the Sony DVDR for long-term archiving? I quoted several brands that I find here in my country but Verbatim and TY not found

MBI is lower quality than RitekF, TY, MCC, and some others. Even FTI would be better than MBI. It's just hard to buy media where you are. I'm not sure what else to say here. Buy it, burn it, test it. You worry more about the initial burn that anything else. Longevity is still a concern, but it's secondary to initial burn.

my concern is the durability of DVD disc, I found Verbatim MCC and TY, I thought of Sony to be a great brand but the Moser Baer manufacturer you said it was not good
|
It really depends on the MBI MID.
MBI 01RG40 is actually quite decent, as it's based off MCC 0xRG20 media. MBI learned MCC methods about 10 years ago, during the MBI/Prodisc (later FTI and CMC) outsourced location days. Prodisc stopped making MCC-type media, and used cheap in-house methods, then the company went under. MBI did both (MMC + cheaper). FTI does both (MCC + cheaper). CMC made only one run of MCC-type discs in the 4x days, then abandoned it for cheap CMC methods. FTI = Falcon Tech in UAE MBI = Moser Baer in India Prodisc = Taiwan, now gone like so many other media manufacturers CMC = you already know about them So again, it depends. Yes, you have to buy media before you know if it was a good buy. Welcoem to DVD media buying, when the best brands are not available. It's a pure gamble. At worst, you'll buy a pack of DVDs to use on non-important things, to give away, etc. At best, you fond some good media. AND STOCK UP WHEN YOU DO!!! |
all these DVD medias that I showed at the beginning of the thread, what you consider the best that I can buy to have a good durability of DVD disc? I can buy that media and in the future buy TY and Verbatim to make a new copy of my files
