Nothing exists for a drive.
For the disc, see this: http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/medi...a-quality.html

Different types of scans exist, and each requires different hardware.

Newer versions are mostly for BD-R, not DVD. v4 is fine for DVD, and has a guide and download in the link above.

You already asked something similar here: http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/medi...peed-good.html

You have what you need to know already.

I need to know if my drive this good or bad for burning discs, a software

Nero DiscSpeed is good to find out if the burning was good and if the disk is good? Nero DiscSpeed is 100% free the Nero website?

I'll burn my dvds verbatim so I need to know if the drive is good and will not have jitter bugs, pie, pif in burning

Based on everything I've heard to date, I think your drive is fine.
And you're now using good discs (MCC).

There's really nothing more that you can do. You're doing all that you can to ensure safety (bravo!)

The only added step would be to burn a second copy -- and then maybe store it somewhere else.
