Anyone have a line on where I can buy some HI8 jewel cases and labels? Have a ton of tapes with no cases. Thanks!

Almost every tape store that existed in the 90s is now gone, either killed off by the 02/03 or 08/09 recessions, or just shriveled up in the wake of new tech (and the company failing to diversify).

So no, cases are hard to come by. eBay is your only shot, but don't expect much.

But labels are easy. Get some Avery/generic labels. The file folder size is best. Get a pair of scissors. And I'm sure you know what to do from there. Honestly, that's how "tape labels" were in the 90s. Aftermarket labels were just Avery/etc, crude, often using crappy glue backs that peeled off in later years. The OEM branded labels were always so much nicer for long-term.
