the case that the protection of humidity is permanent? to protect the dvds is necessary to remove them from the dvd case because inside the dvd case has moisture and silica gel does not absorb moisture being outside the case? silica gel inside the case is soldered and scratches the disc

I did this with VHS as a child, and with cassettes, though not with discs. It paid dividends with all our VHS looking almost like new, with virtually no degradation of the ones I stored 10 - 15 years on. Those ones have a perfectly good picture, track perfectly, and are great. Those not stored in that way have some issues.

For discs, I would bet you get a benefit if your in a high humidity area. I used sealed freezer bags, though and not ziploc as there was always a large air gap.

I would renew the silica gel every couple of years or when we took them for viewing.

please respond my question

If I have a DVD inside a black closed box case and inside that case box it has some moisture if I put this case inside a zip lock bag and I put silica gel sache inside that bag and close the bag the blue gel silica will pull to absorb all the moisture that is inside the case of dvd? The silica gel is not inside the case the silica gel is inside the bag

Are they name-brand ziplocks, or generic garbage? Always better of with top-shelf baggies.

One of the reasons why beer that comes in clear or green bottles should be overlooked is because their bottles allow for the transmission of sunlight. Brown glass bottles have a physical property that blocks sunlight which in turn prevents the beer within from becoming spoiled from exposure to sunlight. Theoretically translucent brown zip-lock bags would block more sunlight than transparent plastics zip-lock bags.

Use Halloween Ziploc bags with characters on for the best of both worlds, partly covered, partly transparent!
