Problem with capturing Betacam SP tapes?
 

Hello,

I am new in a "Betacam technology" and I tried digitized some Betacam SP tapes..result is visually good, but I have some problem with stability of picture (lines) and I don't know if it is normal for this technology or I am doing something wrong.

I tried two players DVW-A510P and HDW-M2000, recorded via SDI (Blackmagic shuttle), but same result.

Will be same result with only SP players?

What lines? I don't see anything wrong with that clip.

Maybe I describe it wrong, it looks like vertical instability on straight edges

Still don't see anything wrong, Don't worry about it that's how analog video looks like. I believe all analog Betacam players are equipped line TBC to address line jitter, not sure about the HD decks.

Thank you for your answer. I hoped that the rip will looks more stable, like dvb rips..I suppose they have it on betacam sp too..
