Hey everyone!

I've been looking to buy new old stock S-VHS-C tapes and I was wondering if RAKS used BASF tape. I've found an ad offering some sealed BASF tapes but also two cardboard boxes (the ones they shipped in to stores) of sealed RAKS tapes.
I read on a webpage that RAKS and BASF were contributing including RAKS using BASF's coated tape material but that page was talking about audio cassettes, I was wondering if this was the case for the video realm, maybe someone on here has some insight on this.
I'm kinda hesitant on the RAKS since I bought some sealed 8mm ones a while back and half of the ones I bought either had mold (don't know how since they were in the plastic wrapping) or snapped in the camcorder.

Thanks,
HBB
