Best AJA KONA capture software for IO LA?

A few people here have used the IO LA and IO HD capture devices using AJA VTR Exchange software on Snow Leopard (OS 10.6) the peak recommended OS for IO devices. I noticed that AJA KONA had released a new utility called AJA Control Room in 2013 that appears compatible with Snow Leopard. Has anyone here tested AJA Control Room with the IO LA or IO HD?

Jwillis is the right person to answer your question, He has one and he fiddles with the OS system, The only thing I ever owned from Apple is an iPhone.
