Currently it says that my IP range is banned because of spam. Is it possible to unban my range? (I'm posting from my iPhone on 3G.)

Thanks.

Hi Tony, I'll need to know what the IP range is that's being blocked. Visit http://www.whatismyip.com
There's a huge "Your IP Address Is:" at the top of the page. I'll need that number to figure out your range.

There's a chance a range has been over-blocked by the forum's firewall, due to spammers.

We generally only block non-English/non-European IP ranges that are not part of our site's target demographics.
Given your command of English, and use of an iPhone, it's probably safe to assume you're not in China, Russia or Pakistan.

This is something I'd like fixed, too, if there's an over-blockage.

I prefer not to post my IP publicly, so I'll PM you.

You can just post the range. Instead of 1.2.3.4, you can post 1.2.3.x

But do PM me the full IP address, so I can cross-reference it against a secondary spam database.

There's not much anybody can do with an IP anyway.
No more than a phone number or address out of a phone book, that is.

It seems 128.x.x.x was blocked -- and I don't know why. Hmmm.....
It's been unblocked.

I really appreciate that you posted this issue, rather than just going to some other site, like most lazy people would do.

THANK YOU!
