I remember when this book was unavailable, and sold for upwards of $50 when it did pop up.
Now there's some for under $5!

Let me repeat. $5 .... F-I-V-E DOLLARS...

Anybody that cares at all about VCRs, analog video, etc, should own one of these. And read it cover to cover!

Get one while you can at http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listi...7&linkCode=ur2

I mean you.

Got it for a penny (plus 5$ shipping) . Do you know of a similar manual about stand alone DVD players?

I've read a few pages in the library and I would recommend it if you have the time to read through it.

But right now I'm focusing on Blu-ray Disc Demystified.

Probably DVD Demystified, though it does have a myth or two in it. But 98% is accurate.

Don't forget Blu-ray:

For used books, Amazon has the DVD for under $5, the Blu-ray for under $10.

I'm about halfway through the Blu-ray book and it isn't really the same idea as the VCR book; it's more about a broad overview of the format as well as software details. Maybe they'll get into hardware intricacies in the latter half.
