Their website hasn't worked in a few months. Anybody know the status of the company? The site was a handy reference for old and obscure formats, hopefully someone archived it!

Sadly, I never did. I do often download whole site, for reasons like this.

I'd heard that the owner had been having serious health issues. And I believe he's somewhere in his 60s age-wise. Like us, he's had that business since the late 1970s. (However, ours is now run by the second generation; the first is retired. I think he was the first.)
