jvc model help needed
Hi guys
Many years ago i purchased a made in japan JVC vhs recorder it would have been around 1995 ? at the time it was £500 and the super vhs equivalent was £800

It was a such a good machine that you could have sworn it was a super vhs machine that's how good it was

now my question is would anyone of the experts here know the model number of this unit

my memories of this unit was it had a jog dial / dynamic drum and it was 4/8 head ? so it was glitch free in the picture search function

the remote was identical to this one

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=jv...9OgIPRVoloM%3A

anyhow any help here would be very much appreciated

Hmm...

It was the VHS version of the 9500 or 9600. That was the 1994-1996 unit. I can see it in my head, as I remember it. But no idea on model numbers. I do see them on eBay from time to time, selling for under $50. It honestly wasn't a great VCR. At the time, Sharp, Philips (pre-Funai), and Toshiba were better.

It was gold, and had a job dial, just like the S-VHS models. It was a wide body, too.
