I need to restore some recordings as they recorded too loudly. I have Audioforge V9. Got the filters downloaded but can't seem to get them into my Audio Forge. Got the 'How to restore page' but not getting very far. Please help me in plain language. Thanks. Don't know what search terms to use in google to get relevant results.

I have the preset window open and it shows the plugins but they all say sonic for first too then sony for everything else. If I do what the faq says and drag and drop it crashes and when I reopen the window they haven't downloaded.

You probably mean Sound Forge, not "Audio Forge".

It's been too long since I last saw Preset Manager crash, so I don't remember off-hand what triggers that error.

I do mean Sound Forge. Silly typing error on my part but I'm disabled with poor typing skills and music is very very important to me. Maybe somebody else can help?
