Hi all,
After researching the site, it appears the recommended stance concerning Video Callibration on JVC HR 9600 VCR models is to have it off, and the Picture Control set to Norm.
The only reason I bring this up is Digital FAQ's "Video Hardware Suggestions: Best VCRs to Convert Tape to Digital" guide advocates for leaving Video Calibration on:
"Video calibration. This is similar to tracking, but so much more. It more precisely control the playback quality of your tape, maintaining both tracking and signal quality."

Can anyone confirm the preferred setting?
Thanks so much!
