Just a head's up for the forum regulars...

At some point in the next 24 hours, we'll be doing a forum upgrade. Most changes are for the backend, for Site Staff sanity, nothing major for the frontend. No appearance changes are schedule yet.

During the upgrade, the forum will be unavailable, redirected to a maintenance page.

We'll update this thread when it done.

Finished it this morning.

Major additions include:
- new PM sorting options
- beta responsive theme (see bottom left of any forum page for the option)
- laid groundwork for next major upgrades, including SSL

If anybody sees any issues, please report them here.

Admin when you introduce SSL please do not BLOCK HTTP SESSIONS!!

There are several sites running an SSL layer that do not block HTTP.... There is no reason to on a site like this...

www.cellar.org is one VBB site running SSL but they do not block HTTP (You can go there using http://www.cellar.org OR https://www.celler.org and it stays in that session your whole time being there)

It can cause older browsers to have connection problems and bottom line is THERE IS NO REASON TO BLOCK HTTP (This is not a banking site, etc) Both can run @ the same time....... (HTTPS for those who wanna use it and HTTP for those who either cant or dont want to)

I dont wanna say too much,I dont wanna risk making you mad..... I like it here!!
