need a bit of advise: how to remove redness from pic:

redphoto.jpg

the common thing on the internet is red-eye removal
but does this need a different technique?
any help you can give will be appreciated.
cheers
Use Photoshop.
Open the image in Photoshop.
For this quick "proof of concept" fix-it, I'm using Photoshop CS3 Extended.

Go to
Image > Adjustments > Levels

Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation

  • reduce saturation about -17
  • reduce lightness about -53
Feel free to "play around" with other colors, or alter these settings to something you feel may look a bit better. Again, this is a quick proof-of-concept example, not a fully-tweaked perfectionist example.
OK

Hope that helps.
