I have not had problems with it but what I have problems with is the Blackmagic HDMI audio.

The sound randomly doesn't work or sounds distorted without me changing anything (software or hardware)....

I also never had issues with HDMI capture but just to be sure I will check the frame count and look for duplicate frames in my test video file.

You mean the Blackmagic won't report dropped frames because the HDMI signal from the EH65 is stable?
That means, if the EH65 actually drops frames in the process of digitization, it will duplicate...

The Blackmagic automatically uses weave on interlaced inputs and I guess what I originally wanted was just a conversion to 576i50.

Ideally, I want to go VCR->EH65->Blackmagic.
But if I need the TBC-100/AVT-8710 to avoid dropped frames or the ES-10 for it's more advanced video correcting...

Are they optional or always on?
I would test my tapes and only if needed, would I put an ES-10 before the EH65 to correct larger picture...

Good to know that. I thought as long as the converters don't apply any filters, scalers or do other video-processing, the results would be the same given that ADCs are pretty standard components.
