Even with the higher bitrate, the file would still be considerably smaller...

Is there anyway to change the preset recording times in MMC 9.0? I would like to change them from the standard 30 min, 1 hr, 2 hrs to something closer to the actual recording time.

Right now, I use Audacity to open the mp2 files and convert to wav. Edit in SoundForge then convert to ac3 with FFMpegGUI. It (FFMpegGUI) is pretty much foolproof. Besweet has given me problems...
