"Quasi-NTSC playback function" transcodes NTSC to PAL 60, NOT NTSC 50. PAL 60 can be captured by SAA713x and Conexant 2388x - so it’s as easy as pie.

Do you mean "some TVs today don't have ANALOG inputs."? Lack of analog inputs doesn't mean, that you can't input interlaced video via HDMI!

I had the same problem with VirtualDub and...

I had the same problem with VirtualDub and others, I tried AmarecTV and there was no sync issue. IMHO AmarecTV is the best capturing software.
