Thanks, yes in desperation I found an old 2008...
Thanks, yes in desperation I found an old 2008 install package that just, well, 'worked' !
So I don't know if I am actually processing slower due to the old version, but at least I am processing...

Vdub won't recognise Xvid in W7 x64
Hello :)
Followed the advice in here I got huffyuv_ht working ok, which was spiffing, but I can't get anywhere with the Xvid codec.
I have found and installed:
Xvid MPEG4 video codec...
