I would say go for 1080p if online sharing is the goal, There isn't any 720p displays available nowadays, So any HD or 4K TV or monitor will have to hardware re-upscale from 720p to 1080p anyway so...

You probably don't need TBC with the ADVC but the quality will be DV, You will certainly need an external TBC with August VGB 100 (easycrap) but you will be able to capture lossless (better than DV)....
