Easy tell = finding Theatre Rage or Theatre 200 chip on the card. No chip, not AIW.

There's no need for expensive step adapters, adding outlets, or re-wiring the unit. That all sounds quite insane to me.

You'll know problems exist earliest when (1) display dim, (2) TBC on/off makes picture brighter/darker.
The next stage is heavy picture noise.
