I am now the proud owner of a Datavideo TBC-1000 as well as a Pinnacle USB (both from Lord Smurf).

I have recently acquired a like new Sony TRV608 Hi8 camcorder. And i now have a Windows 7 pro workstation that will be dedicated ONLY to video capture.

The 'signal flow' seems obvious to me but i want to make sure that :

1. I am correct in this signal flow
2. I have not omitted something i need to buy

My plan is this:

Sony 608 out via S-Video (and audio via RCA) into the TBC -1000. From the TBC into Pinnacle USB. Out of the Pinnacle into my computer via USB cable. Capturing with VirtualDub.

Does this sound correct and complete?

Thanks for any and all input on this.
