Hi!
I am capturing some Hi-8 tapes with Diamond VC500 USB card. I am using a Sony CCD-TRV59E camcorder.
Can anyone help me with the following questions?

1. Does the Diamond VC500 card have internal sync?

2. What are the best "Timing" settings for the setup in VirtualDub? Are the default ones ok?

3. I read that 720x480 resolution is the one to go for capturing. Is this correct?

4. Are there any settings I need to set at the camcorder, or just proceed with normal playback?

Thanks in advance!
