Aja Kona LSe using automatic gain control (AGC)?

I'm using an Aja Kona LSe. After three cards from eBay, I finally got one to work. All is good so far except for one thing. I don't see anything mentioned in the manual or in the software about Automatic Gain Contro (AGC). In other capture cards (such as the Matrox MXO2) there is a AGC toggle in the software, but not here. I've heard of some capture cards doing stealth AGC (i.e. AGC always on and you can't turn it off). How can I tell if my Aja Kona LSe is doing AGC or not?
