Hello

Followed the advice in here I got huffyuv_ht working ok, which was spiffing, but I can't get anywhere with the Xvid codec.
I have found and installed:

Xvid MPEG4 video codec
00:52:05, May 30 2009
xvidcore.dll version 1.2.2 (*xvid-1.2.2*)
(Vanilla CVS Build, 64-bit Edition)

I need to install first the
Microsoft visual c++ 2008 sp1 redistributable package (x64)
- which installed ok.

So I THINK I have got Xvid installed ok, although Device Manager doesn't seem to show installed video codecs like it did in the old days, but Vdub doesn't show it in the list under 'Select video compression'

Any assistance appreciated, ta.

I wonder what would happen if you installed the 32-bit version instead?

Thanks, yes in desperation I found an old 2008 install package that just, well, 'worked' !
So I don't know if I am actually processing slower due to the old version, but at least I am processing successfully.
Cheers.
