Hi,
Is there a software package that smart renders mpeg-2, wmv, avi, mp4 and mov frame accurately?
All I want to do is trim and join stuff.
Many thanks

TMPGenc Smart Renderer v4. You might also take a look at VideoReDo TV Suite. If your sources are substandard or copy protected, forget it.

I use TMPGenc Smart Renderer v4 all the time on H.264 (MKV,MP4) files.
And then Womble for MPEG-2.
I'm not aware of anything that works this way on Quicktime MOV or WMV.
"AVI" is just a container.
