Using Sony Movie Studio 12 and Sound Forge Studio 10

I take a lot of video on my boat ... waterskiing etc.
This is full HD with stereo wav audio
The audio tends to suffer from a lot of wind noise .... in SF help it says to use Sony Express Audio Restoration ... and select appropriate preset, and adjust .... but details really only how to deal with vinyl recordings.
Do you have any presets for wind noise reduction or advice how to treat it.

Maybe even better is that I have the add-on Sony Noise Reduction 2 Plugin .... this has a lot more controls ... but again no preset for wind noise.

Anybody able to give guide how to adjust or ideally point me to a preset library.

Yes, we've created many presets for this sort of noise.
Post a sample.

Here is a sample ... you can hear engine noise and the wind noise ... it is wind noise I want to reduce.

I tried many times to upload a file here .. it is a small .wav file ... after selecting file, when I click on upload ... I get the message "sending request to DigitalFaq", but it never goes any further.
So unsure if it will be playable or not ....

So I have also put it on my Dropbox:

Attached Files
File Type: wav sample.wav (5.36 MB, 2 downloads)

It seems to have attached just fine.

If you mean removing the "whipping" wind sound hitting mic, no, there's no way to remove that. I thought you meant a steady wind noise in the background. That's different.

I'm subbing this thread. I have A LOT of footage from our summers at the beach house. Not directly on the beach, but about a 10-15 minute walk away. Needless to say there's a lot of wind noise. The footage from those years is phenomenal compared to the earlier stuff, but anything to fix either picture or sound is an upgrade.

If this is on VHS then I transferred & restored these to DVD mainly using VirtualDub & AviSynth with a lot of help from guys at http://www.videohelp.com/ .

Hope you do get some answers on wind noise, keen to improve my audio restoration.
