I recently moved to Veerotech after reading so many good reviews here and in WHT. However, I am not too happy, as we have been having so many issues in the past days and it just keeps dragging on and on, and I just wanna be done with it as I don't have the luxury of time to keep dealing with all these issues.

So, I am now thinking maybe a VPS is the best option for me at this point.

I have read this site's recommendations for VPS, but with a >$50 budget, which is the best way to go?
I have about 20 cPanels (clients), and there are about 2-3 blogs in there who get more or less 100-300k visits per month. All Wordpress blogs, nothing special like a forum or photography site.

Any help at this point will be greatly appreciated. I need to make a decision today, and with all these options I just want to make sure I will not be moving again in a few weeks.

Due to the holidays, we missed this post.

What sort of issue did you have with Veerotech? Let's make sure you avoid that in the future. (That said, Veerotech is an excellent host. The owner, Brent, is a member of this forum, and is one of the most helpful hosting owners you'll ever meet.)

A VPS is never just $50. Don't get yourself into a bad situation. There are hidden costs.

And even a "managed" host is not really fully managed.

You're probably used to hosts that have optimized servers with caching and commercial software like CloudLinux, LiteSpeed, cXs, paid mod_security rules, etc. When you add those things up, it's easily another $50 per month or more. And without them, you server is slow and insecure. Lots of people jump on VPS bandwagon without knowing what they're getting into.

With reseller hosting, that was all taken care of for you.

So ask yourself --- do you want to spend all of your time making a server run, or simply using it.
- If the former, VPS.
- If the latter, reseller hosting.

Quite often, problems with web sites are caused by having a rotten web host. Worse yet, many hosts try to blame you (the customer) for the problems! So dump that lousy company. Say goodbye to slow sites, unresponsive support techs, and downtime. Find yourself a new host today. Whether you need shared, reseller, VPS, semi-dedicated, cloud, or dedicated hosting, something on our list should be a good upgrade for you.
