Hi and thanks for any advice and help with this.

I am currently using my friends JVC HRS-7722 vcr but have no remote I just want to see what settings are in the menu because I am having a few problems with the player it keeps turning the TBC/NR back on when I've manually turned it off this is causing me a few problems when capturing video's with them being slightly jumpy.

I want to know which multi brand remote is best to use with this vcr cheaper the better because he does have the remote just can't find it. I did ask JVC would this work and they said yes but not all the functions but wouldn't tell me which functions.

PQ11534

asked about this one as well but they didn't answer.

PQ21953U

Thanks

I hate how JVC calls these "multi brand" remotes. It's so misleading. They only work on one brand: JVC.

Almost any JVC S-VHS VCR remote will work, all the way back to the mid 90s models. So more than a decade of models use the same or similar remotes.

The black ones have dozens of numbers, like PQ21953U, but it's really no different than any other black remote that looks the same.

I never seen PQ11534 before. It must be from the early 90s. Bit it will probably work, too.

- For sale in the marketplace: TBCs, workflows, capture cards, VCRs

as one of many for under $20 if you don't mind ebay
You could "spend" more in time searching for alternatives.
