Has anyone had problems with Nero and its verification program after burning? I've been burning some titles with it and been getting verification errors right towards the end. I remember someone saying Nero verification program can't be trusted. The discs seem to play fine and show no discs problems when I scan it for errors.

I just started having problems with it. I would get an occassional problem but now it is about every other disc. I unistalled and reinstalled it and still have the problem. Could there be any other problems effecting it or is there a fix?

Nero has some nice features, but LS right. It can't be trusted. I have Nero 7, everything was fine until recently. Now I'm getting errors and other BS. I wonder if the updates are making it screw up?

I found a way around it. I was backing upsome commercial DVDs and was really having problems when I would use Nero to burn and verify. Fortunately, DVD2One has a feature which allows you to compress in ISO mode. I just use Imgburn or DVDDecryptor to burn and verify.

I find that if a disc will verify than it usually is fine so I can skip surface scan with Nero. I've never had a problem with a disc that has verified, but I have found problem discs that didn't verify when I check them with Nero surface scan.
